Animales heridos (2006) which, in English, means "wounded animals," tells the story of three intertwined relationships in Spain. First is successful businessman Silvio (Jose Coronado) and his once-a-week mistress, interior decorator Claudia (Aitana Sánchez-Gijón). After the couple copulates, Silvio uses binoculars to spy from their hotel room on his neglected wife, Marcia (Cecilia Rossetto). The next pair is husband Daniel (Marc Cartes) and wife Irina (Cristina Plazas), whose marriage comes under fire courtesy of a buff body-builder. Finally, we learn about Silvio's Mexican housekeeper, Mariela (Patricia Arredondo), and her Peruvian boyfriend, Jorge Washington (Gerardo Zamora). These animals may be wounded, but the females of this species are all foxes.
