On leave from the navy, a group of seamen (ahem) run amok in sunny California in the raunchy ’80s sex comedy Weekend Pass (1984). Swaggering Webster (Patrick Houser), nebbish Lester (Peter Ellenstein), yuck-yuck man Paul (D.W. Brown), and love-starved Bunker (Chip McAllister) can’t wait to get off the boat and onto the beach, where they attempt to get rich, famous, and laid in seventy-two hours. The boys have been at sea for a while, but bombshells Sara Costa, Hilary Shepard, Cheryl Song, and Ashley St. Jon get them swiftly up to speed, with one dame advising how “straight sex went out with bellbottoms.” Teach us all, ladies!
