Forget John Wayne Gacy and Stephen King’s It. The horror circus of Tommy Brunswick’s Mr. Jingles (2006) will terrify coulrophobes (people with an abnormal and persistent fear of clowns) like never before. Alternately titled 2 S.I.C.K., Brunswick’s B-movie stars Kelli Jensen as the lone survivor of a hellish massacre, in which four entire families were slaughtered on the same day by a psychopathic circus clown. Seven years after the massacre, Angie (Jensen) takes her first tentative steps out of the mental hospital where she’s been recovering, only to come face-to-face with the white makeup and red wig of the dormant killer. Angie might be too terrified to flash flesh, but Heather Doba and Jessica Hall seem unaware of their fates as they indulge in some carefree boffing.
