Pop princess Mariah Carey enlisted a raft of talent for assistance with the sixth single from her enormously successful full-length The Emancipation of Mimi. Say Somehtin’ (2006) features Carey’s soaring vocals over glossy production by The Neptunes and a rap cameo by hip-hop superstar Snoop Dogg. Carey’s pop confection describes a sexy encounter at a nightclub that culminates in a proposal to hit the restroom for a passionate quickie. Though it’s left ambiguous as to whether the woman accepts, male viewers will be able to use their imagination as they watch Carey dance alluringly on screen in Paul Hunter’s music video.
