Young marrieds Lucy (Virginie Ledoyen) and Norman (Paddy Considine) make a terrible discovery in the 1970s-set fright film The Backwoods (2006). When visiting their friend Paul (Gary Oldman) and his new wife, Isabel (Aitana Sánchez-Gijón), in the Basque region of Spain, Lucy and Norman come across a feral young girl named Nerea (Yaiza Esteve) being held prisoner in a cabin. Their attempts to bring Nerea to safety lead to nightmarish suspense, leavened with deliriously arousing nudity from Virginie and Aitana. The Backwoods will give you wood—in the front!
