Extraterrestrial invaders rely on the blood of virgin females to keep them whole in the sci-fi sex comedy Evils of the Night (1985). Unabashedly campy, Mardi Rustam’s drive-in treat is set in motion when a UFO touches town in a verdant American park. Desperate for fresh blood, the aliens onboard enlist a pair of dimwitted auto mechanics to kidnap a clutch of pot-smoking teens camping nearby. Blending the best (and worst) of the slasher, sci-fi, and teen-comedy genres, Rustam’s film scores bonus points for coaxing its starlets out of their clothing on multiple occasions. Crystal Breeze, Amber Lynn, and Jody Swafford lead the birthday-suit brigade, with Karrie Emerson, Bridget Holloman, and G.T. Taylor following closely in the rear.
