Review
In the visionary world of softcore sexploitation cinema, corporate conglomeration of the mass media was a major concern more than a quarter century ago. The, some would say, crazed hero of director Henri Pachard’s Video Vixens (1975) exults in the revolutionary act of liberating a broadcast outlet from the stifling commercial interests controlling it and televises a bastardized award show dedicated to glorifying the transformative power of stag films. Do we need to point out that this paean to all things erotic is in effect a loosely connected sketch-comedy vehicle that is every bit as puerile as it is prurient?
