Kelis Rogers took a fast ride up international hip-hop charts with Bossy (2006), the first big single from her Kelis Was Here full length. Featuring taunts to 50 Cent and some cameo rapping from Todd “Too $hort” Shaw, the platinum track also boasts a slick video, in which Kelis indulges in some high-class celebrating. Sipping champagne and admiring her diamonds, the singer moves from the side of the pool to the plush confines of a fancy cabriolet. Some nudity might have been nice, but we’ll refrain from getting bossy and let Kelis do her thing.
