As his type so often does in violent thrillers such as The Night Stalker (1987), a crazed killer prowls about after dark in pursuit of female victims. Hence his moniker that gives the movie its title. Among the lovelies undone by the movie's villain are familiar '80s-and-'90s B-movie sirens Lydie Denier and Tally Chanel, along with prolific thespian Diane Sommerfield, who seems to have ended her career on this note of Night. Russ Meyer hero Charles Napier brings his square-jawed charisma to the role of the lawman on the slayer's trail, and also look for drive-in icons Ola Ray, George "Buck" Flower, and Robert Z'Dar.
