Sometimes sketch comedy shows just don’t age well. This one’s a case study of aging terribly, with jokes that may have been just fine in the early 80’s now coming across as lame, sexist and offensive to most viewers. Let me put it this way… if you haven’t heard the joke that ends with the line, “Why do you ask, Two-Dogs-Fucking?” then maybe you can squeeze a giggle or two out of this hokey display of obvious one-liners and laugh tracks that play far too loudly. The careers of Super Dave Osbourne and John Byner were helped no end by their appearances in this show and Jayne Eastwood, who showed some skin in 1974’s Pleasure is my Business, also made an impression – albeit in a different way…
