Adam Sandler is a law-school graduate with a nice apartment and a real shot at success, but all this thirty-two-year-old wants to do is rest, rest, rest. It's hard work doing nothing all day, you see, living off of lawsuit winnings and fiddling around like an overgrown kid, and he's fine working one day a week as a tollbooth collector and twiddling Kristy Swanson's sweet teats. He's like God in reverse, and he likes it like that. But when his ladyfriend reaches her wit’s end and leaves him to fend for himself, Adam comes up with a plan to prove to her that he's a real man. He decides to adopt his China-bound roomie's five-year-old boy and become a Big Daddy (1999). There's only one problem: Kristy goes and gets with another man, leaving Adam caring for a kid he doesn't know what to do with. He tries to have the boy sent back to his mother, but she's shuffled off this mortal coil. Turmoil! With no other options, Adam decides to take care of the kid himself.
