The Sleeping Dictionary (2002) stars Hugh Dancy as a young English colonel sent to the jungles of Malaysia in the 1930s. There he meets Jessica Alba, a smoking-hot native who lands the job of teaching the hot-under-the-collar colonist a thing or two about the local language. She's also expected to sleep with him—she's what they call a "sleeping dictionary," you see. And indeed, Jessica does end up teaching Hugh a thing or two about the letters T and A. Unfortunately for the viewer, though, there's a hard lesson about the world included for you in The Sleeping Dictionary: The bare pair Jessica appears to wear actually belongs to a body double. Why, that's almost as bad as the war that tears Jess and Hugh apart! Free those jungle meats!
