After spending four years behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit, a former security consultant hatches a devilish scheme to get back at the man who put him there in The Heist (1989). 007-to-be Pierce Brosnan stars as Neil Skinner, the framed ex-con who enlists a team to swindle Ebbet Berens (Tom Skerritt), a race-track manager and the man behind his fall. Getting away with the money isn’t enough for Skinner--the chip on his shoulder is so big that he refuses to settle for less than Berens’s bombshell girlfriend (Wendy Hughes). Fortunately for the con man, he ends up getting his way by successfully coaxing the fiery redhead to join him between the sheets.
