With some movies, the title tells you everything you need to know. Reform School Girl (1994) is a straight ahead, honest account of a troubled young female seeking to improve her life by entering a correctional institution. The regimen of betterment includes humility training at the mercy of dedicated professionals, confidence building practiced during secret activities with special buddies and an attempt to grasp godliness through cleanliness by partaking of spiritually-uplifting group showering. Of course, not every wayward girl who enrolls at the reform school will graduate with honors. Still, viewers will be tempted to give them all A’s for effort.
