The historical drama Black Robe (1991) stars Lothaire Bluteau as French Jesuit Father Laforgue, who makes a 1500-mile trek to a distant mission with a group of friendly Algonquins, led by their chief (August Schellenberg), his wife (Tantoo Cardinal), and their daughter, Annuka (Sandrine Holt). Also on the expedition is a young carpenter named Daniel (Aden Young), who falls in love with Annuka. Along the way, the group is beaten and tortured by an unfriendly tribe, and when they finally reach the mission, they find everyone, including the priest in charge, dead or dying of fever. You’ll get the fever for beaver when you see Sandrine Holt’s chest teepees as she gets fondled by some guy by the fire.
