In Flesh for Frankenstein (1974), director Paul Morrissey’s reimagining of Mary Shelley, Udo Kier’s Baron Frankenstein animates a delectable corpus delecti played by Dalila Di Lazzaro. While he tries to piece together a man worthy of this homemade hottie, the Baron’s neglected bride, Monique van Vooren, is staying animated with studly stableboy Joe Dallesandro (proudly flaunting his anachronistic Brooklyn accent). Things get really nuts when the Baron discovers his male monster doesn’t care very much for the ladies, thanks to the classic gag of accidentally using the wrong noggin to finish his project.
