Suave Frenchman Jean-Paul Belmondo stars as François Leclercq in Le Corps de mon ennemi (1976). When he is young and full of spite for the textile barons who unfairly rule his region, François falls for Marie-France Pisier as Gilberte Liégeard, the heiress to a local textile fortune. This messes our boy up real bad. Years later, François is accused of murdering an athlete and a hooker, which prompts him to go underground, where he blows the lid off of a conspiracy leading right up to the most powerful people in his troubled little world. Be on the lookout for the single-named Serena, who plays a character tellingly called La strip-teaseuse.
