In the post-feminist slasher movie you get the best of both worlds. First the damsel in distress is undressed and raped, then she gets dressed up in war paint and seeks her bloody revenge. That's the plotline of Endangered (1994). Sexy Swiss Miss Sandra Hess, Pauly Shore's love interest from Encino Man (1992), gets naked skinny dipping and later is covered in her tormentor’s blood. Not a bad narrative arc.
