A trio of enterprising young filmmakers tries to get their kicks and cash at once by shooting a hardcore porn film in Michael Glawogger’s Nacktschnecken (2004). Set in Austria, the film chronicles the trials and tribulations of Johann (Raimund Wallisch), Max (Michael Ostrowski), and Schorsch (Georg Friedrich––three pals whose overactive hormones and directorial ambitions prove to be a dangerous combination. The auteurs discover that paradise isn’t quite what it’s advertised to be as they struggle to capture a balls-out gangbang with their budget equipment. Fortunately viewers can enjoy the fruits of their labor, as hotties Pia Hierzegger and Iva Lukic deliver on the promise of the porno premise.
