A lost wallet and a small favor send a struggling worker on a wild ride in the Japanese erotic drama Shoujo joufu (1980). Banmei Takahashi’s film tells of a young man who gathers his courage to ask a cute bystander for a five-hundred-yen loan after misplacing his wallet. The girl forks over the cash, the boy falls in love, and soon the two are frolicking around in the bedroom. But when the boy learns that his new flame’s boyfriend is an incarcerated yakuza boss, he realizes that his days could be numbered. Cecile Goda strips up a storm as the comely love interest, and co-stars Naomi Oka and Maria Satsuki do well to match her in bouts of carnal gymnastics.
