The action-packed sequel The Mummy Returns (2001) has Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, and John Hannah reprising their roles as an American adventurer, his Egyptologist wife, and her ne’er-do-well brother. This time, the mummy (Arnold Vosloo) is resurrected by his reincarnated girlfriend Anck-Su-Namum (Patricia Velasquez) and seeks to dominate the world with the massive undead army of the legendary Scorpion King (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson). A flashback to ancient Egypt shows Rachel Weisz and Patricia Velasquez in revealing costumes, but we don’t get to see either one’s mammies.
