An affluent businessman with a gorgeous fiancée finds his life upended by a sudden illness in the sultry French drama La Fille de mes rêves (1999). When Philippe (Philippe Lejeune) falls mysteriously ill, he’s admitted to a local hospital, where a flirtatious nurse (Kennia De Seinne) is assigned to his case. At first Philippe loves the attention, but when he learns of nursie’s Sapphic side, he begins to fear she might make a move on his vivacious girlfriend (Linda Paris). Both of these women are goddesses, and neither one is shy about showing it, so it’s a shame that Philippe’s fear never comes to fruition. Nevertheless De Seinne and Paris get plenty of mileage out of their respective mates.
