Aside from annoying patriotism, Seven Days was a pretty cool show that benefited immensely from its sympathetic (though limited) leading actor Jonathan LaPaglia. Also contributing to its critical acclaim was the fine chemistry between LaPaglia and female co-star Justina Vail (whose sexy portrayal of the Russian scientist “Olga Vukavitch” earned her a Saturn Award for Best Genre TV Supporting Actress). However, at least in my opinion, this sci-fi series was based on a one-joke-premise which made it intriguing at first, but tiresome in the end. The story went as follows: former CIA operative Frank Parker (LaPaglia) is hired by the NSA to join a team of scientists and government officials on a project called “Backstep.” This project allows him to travel back in time for exactly seven days in order to alter certain events for the better. Justina Vail got completely naked in an episode entitled Olga's Excellent Vacation while going for a skinny-dip in the wilderness. Sadly she didn’t actually reveal anything except for some distant side nudity.
