It’s hard for a man to resist the requests of a woman when she is supplying him hot, illicit sex every time he asks her for it. A man is especially vulnerable to the wiles of a wanting woman if he is trapped in a loser profession with little hope for advancement, such as the security guard in On the Border (1998). A security guard has very limited avenues to stick his vengeance back to society. One of his few sure releases is to embark upon an adulterous affair with his boss’s wife. Living dangerously is its own reward; so why not start cheating on the boss’s wife with another broad who has eyes for a better life? When both the boss’s wife and the extra chippie start pushing the security guard to rob a bank he would be more prudent to guard, you have some dramatic tension to go with the forbidden sex.
