Marche à l'ombre (1984) is a buddy flick that follows François and Denis as they travel around Greece and eventually head to Paris, penniless no less, where they camp out with African immigrants and meet the beautiful Mathilde. When one of them falls in love with her, they must go to New York to complete the journey. Sophie Duez enchants as Mathilde, especially when showing off her tanned tomatoes in the dance studio.
