Dead Mary (2007) is not only a great horror movie, it’s a game that a bunch of cute college grads play when they get together for a reunion. What makes this so scary is that the game conjures up an evil spirit that possesses each of the girls, such as Dominique Swain and Marie-Josée Colburn, and turns them into murderous mamas. The scenes of blood and terror are pleasantly washed from the palette by some nice shots of the girls lounging in bikinis. In that respect, Dead Mary will have you hailing Mary.
