Charles Dickens would spin in his grave if he ever found out that one of his dusty literary classics had spawned Forbidden Tales of Two Cities (1975). In this unapologetically amorous comedy, Macau and Hong Kong stand in for Paris and London, and the dueling metropolises play host to a kinky love quartet replete with copious S&M. Terry Liu and Chen Ping both wander into the thorny entanglement, and both actresses abandon their garments at key points in the proceedings.
