Director Geoffrey Wright is the talented Australian director who gave the world a terrifying Russell Crowe in Romper Stomper (1992). Metal Skin (1994) is a follow-up to that hit, but this time it's Satanism not Nazism as the evil engine driving the action. The gearhead lead is understandably attracted to Tara Morice but doesn't know she's part of the Devil's pit crew. Besides some amazingly photographed drag races, there's some amazingly photographed skin, thanks to Tara and, to a lesser extent, Nadine Garner. Plus, the movie has skin in the title. How could Mr. Skin not love it?
