Anything Else (2003)

After falling in love at first site with New York City eyeful Amanda (Christina Ricci) in Anything Else (2003), insecure aspiring comic writer Jerry (Jason Biggs) finds himself smack dab in the middle of a drama over a doll. In hopes of taking a bite of his new Miss Right’s big apples, Jerry leaves his longtime girlfriend cold by dumping her in the snow. Turning to über-mensch and veteran comedian friend David (Woody Allen) for guidance on getting his gorgeous gal, Jer follows his mentor’s misogynistic advice on breaking the ice with the nicely enticing Amanda. But when his woman and his wacko mama move in, and David’s advice becomes increasingly dotty, this writer realizes that his vision for vixens may not exactly be 20/20.
