From child model to child star to all-grown-up woman, Angell Conwell has been captivating us since day one. At the age of 17, director John Singleton cast her as Kim, Omar Gooding’s girlfriend, in Baby Boy (2001), which led to her role as Kianna in City Guys (2001) and various guest-starring roles on the little screen. In 2004, an officially legal Angell, age 21, hit the silver screen again in Soul Plane, a high-in-the-sky sexy romp that revealed Angell’s heavenly delights in a bright bikini overflowing with her ample top and bottom assets, smooth mocha skin, and a sexy belly-button piercing—which could in part explain how the flick set a record for illegal downloads prior to its theatrical release. The lush honey went on to create scenes in more silver-screen scenarios, then returned for the role of Paige in television’s For Richer or Poorer in 2012-2013; as Leslie Michaelson in The Young and the Restless from 2010-2017, with an extra appearance in 2019; in Family Time as Lisa Stallworth in 2012 through 2020; and in 2019-2021 as Veronica in Bigger, where we get another take of the Ms. Sweet Thing’s sweethearts as she unbuttons her blouse to unveil the generous twosome practically popping out a lacy peach bra. If you a music fan, you’ll also remember the ebony enchantress in music videos for Eric Sermons “I’m Hot,” and in Nelly’s “Ride Wit Me” and “Batter Up.” In 2019, her hometown of Columbia, South Carolina, presented her with a key to the city, and deemed February 5 as Angell Conwell Day.
