An American Dream (1966)

The official tagline of the lurid psycho-thriller An American Dream (1966) declares that the movie as a "private nightmare of lust, violence, and murder, where a bed is a battlefield and love is armed combat!" Stuart Whitman plays TV talk-show host Stephen Richard Rojack, who, during a fight with his shrewish wife (Eleanor Parker), shoves the missus out a window. He tries to con the cops into thinking it was a suicide, and he might just get away with it, if his ex-flame Cherry McMahon (Janet Leigh) keeps cool. What definitely is cool about An American Dream is that Eleanor slips a nip that was missed by the censors.
