American Dreams

American Dreams tells the story of the ’60s and early ’70s through the lives of the Pryor family, a typical white family going through pretty atypical times. Teener daughter Brittany Snow lives for American Bandstand and even dances on the show, so the pop music of the era plays a big part in the series. While Brittany's learning about love and friendship from her counterculture boyfriend and her black pal Arlen Escarpeta, her older brother is trying to carve his own way and her parents are trying to keep their marriage solid in a shifting world.
