It's Hard To Believe Allison Janney First Got Naked on Masters of Sex, Because It's Not True
There are many out there who would be surprised to learn that Allison Janney’s first sex scene was on Masters of Sex, including us! That's becauseAllison Janney’s first topless sex scene actuallycame in the 2009 flick LifeDuring Wartime, a full four years earlier.
In a recent interview with The New York Times Magazine, both the interviewer andJanneyseemingly forgot about her nude debut.
I understand that you were nervous for your sex scene in “Masters of Sex,” because it was your first sex scene ever, at age 50. It was unusual to have to do that at 50.
I’m like, Really? I still haven’t seen it. I’m one of those actors who fall into the camp of never wanting to look at themselves on camera ever, thank you very much. I do not and will not, because I am my worst critic. I think it was the hardest thing I ever had to do, to pretend that I was having an orgasm onscreen.
At the age of 50 Allison Janey is still quite beautiful. It’s a little sad that she can't remember her sex scene from Life During Wartime, but that doesn’t take away from how great her sex scenes were on Masters of Sex.
