Review

The hit 70s sitcom All in the Family tackled some of the most controversial topics of the day through its bigoted and conservative patriarch Archie Bunker, and the rest of his household. A lot of the discussion gets spurred on by Archie and his liberal son’s dialogue with one another on current events going on around America. The reason the show was so revolutionary in its day was because all other family oriented sitcoms never dreamed of showing an inherently dysfunctional family, which this show did. His daughter was played by Sally Struthers, who, on occasion during the show’s run could be seen in some skimpy outfits. In one particular episode she’s getting harangued by her dad while donning a blue two piece bikini. Now there’s a good topic worth mass debating!
