Getting her start as a knockout model, commercial actress, and Miss World winner, “Ash”, as she’s called, has gone on to become arguably the most popular Bollywood actress, starring in a head-spinning number of pictures globally. But she continues to make her fans’ bollies ache—due to strict moral and cultural codes in her native country, she’s pledged to keep her buxom Bombays wrapped up in a sari onscreen. Even something as chaste as a kissing scene is verboten in Rai’s world, though she did heat things up with a midriff-baring near lip-lock with Dylan McDermott in The Mistress of Spices (2005). Savory, but not fleshy enough for our tastes! But dare to bare, Aishwarya, and you’ll “curry” favor with skin fans for years to come.
