A French series about female judges and lawyers in the family court system, this series came and went in 2000 without so much as a whimper. Starring the magnificently named Jezabel Carpi and seasoned French skin veteran Elisa Servier, the show was intended to be a touching, heartbreaking, thrilling look at the ins and outs of the family legal system, but viewers seemed more thrilled to rent Servier’s older movies, such as Bonjour Antoine and Pour 100 briques t'as plus rien. We don’t blame them – that soapy muff shot in Pour 100 briques is amongst the finer moments of modern French cinema… at least as far as we’re concerned.
