Addicted to Fame (2011)

Some people are addicted to drugs, some are addicted to gambling, but filmmaker David Giancola is Addicted to Fame (2012). This documentary starts off as a juicy tell-all behind the scenes of the b- movie Illegal Aliens, but takes a darker turn after the untimely death of star Anna Nicole Smith midway through shooting. But while Giancola is trying to provoke deep thoughts about the destructive nature of fame, with B-movie queens Anna, Lenise Soren, Gladise Jimenez and Chyna strutting their stuff in bras and bikinis, Addicted to Fame ends up as a whole 'nother sort of head-scratcher.
