Adapted from the John Grisham novel of the same name, A Time to Kill (1996) stars Samuel L. Jackson as Carl Lee Hailey, a grieving and enraged father who takes the law into his own hands when his daughter, Tonya (RaéVen Larrymore Kelly), is viciously attacked by two dudes (Nicky Katt and Doug Hutchison) in a rural Mississippi town. When the attackers are apprehended, Carl has little faith in the racist judicial system, so he shoots and kills the devious duo, leading to the arrest and subsequent trial of the vengeful father. To the chagrin of many, Carl lawyers up with Jake Brigance (Matthew McConaughey), a fresh-faced attorney that is in over his head in the controversial case. With the help of his old law school professor (Donald Sutherland) and an enthusiastic law student (Sandra Bullock), Carl might just escape life in prison. There’s lots of drama in this courtroom flick, but there’s no nudity. A glistening and glowing Ashley Judd sits on the floor, working on some arts and crafts while wearing a shear top that struggles to conceal her happy nipples. Mr. Skin would like some time to feel Ashley’s Judds!
