Twenty-somethings savor a passionate one-night stand before weathering years of awkward pent-up emotion in the romantic comedy A Lot Like Love (2005). Likened to a Gen. Y version of When Harry Met Sally (1989), Nigel Cole’s film stars Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet as strangers who share an impromptu shag in a cramped airplane bathroom. Following the encounter, the pair spends the next half decade meeting up for awkward sexual encounters that leave them feeling confused and tentative about how to proceed. For a film about random hookups, Cole keeps things frustratingly modest, asking Peet to do most of her acting while comfortably covered. They don’t come much hotter than the brunette ex-model, however, so be sure to sneak a peek.
