A Family Secret (2006)

Secrets are revealed at a family funeral in the Quebecois comedy Le secret de ma mère (A Family Secret) (2006). On New Year’s Day in Montreal, the family and friends of 76-year-old Jos (Guy Thauvette) have gathered for his funeral. As the hours wear on, the atmosphere turns genial and the family reminisces about Jos’ life. Through the memories of her aunts, uncles and mother Blanche (Ginette Reno), Jos’s daughter Jeanne (Céline Bonnier) learns astonishing (and sometimes hilarious) secrets about her parents’ shared past. Bianca Gervais bares brief butt being screwed while a TV blares in the background. She’ll have you screaming “Oh, Canada!”
