Blonde babe Jayne Wisener may well be the reason that Irish eyes are smiling. After studying at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Jayne of Ballymoney, Nothern Ireland, put her talents to use on the stage as part of the children's charity troupe Music Theatre 4 Youth. During a performance of West Side Story, the casting director for Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) spotted the siren and cast her as Johanna opposite Johnny Depp. After making her debut in the Oscar-winning musical, the lass went on to appear in the fright flick Boogeyman 3 (2008), where she didn’t get naked but did show up in cheeky panties and nipple-poked tops. Coming down off her Hollywood high, Jayne settled in to life in the UK, making hay as Simone Lewis in the British series Casualty in 2010, and Lucy Wilson in the mini-series Injustice in 2011. What’s that? Hollywood wants Jayne back? Of course it does, and the actress was cast as Bessie in the UK/US collab of the movie Jane Eyre starring Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender. Now, back to those UK credits…Jayne took up the role of Kat Nickleby in the mini-series The Life and Adventures of Nick Nickleby (2012), the regular gig of Sandie Morrow in the BBC series 6Degrees from 2012-2015, a role as Anna in the movie The Heiress (2021), the part of Tracy Cook in the TV movie Her Pen Pal, and Beatrice of Burgundy in the television series Glow & Darkness in 2021.
