Gorgeously green-eyed, milky-skinned maiden Meridith Baer made her skinematic and acting debut as the screw-balling mistress Deborah Holt in the movie The Sister-in-Law (1974)—and what an entrance it was! Her glorious globes falling out of her shirt, her big areolas and tiny, pointed nipples popping up to say hello. She went on to play Tracy next, in The Chicken Chronicles (1977), one of Steve Guttenberg’s first movies, and then a switchboard operator in Prime Time (1977) with Joanna Cassidy. She was Janet in Coach (1978) with Cathy Lee Crosby, and her last big-screen appearance was playing Miss Phipps in Private Lessons (1981) with the famous Sylvia Kristel (a Skin Central Hall of Fame Nudity! girl) and Howard Hesseman. In between all that, Meridith appeared in several TV series, including as Mindy in CHiPs, Janet in Eight Is Enough and Helen Chambers in The Next Step Beyond in 1978; and in the mini-series Studs Lonigan (1979) with Harry Hamlin. Her final on-screen role was playing Judy in two episodes of Happy Days in 1984. After she left showbiz, Meridith started her own highly successful business in the Los Angeles area, working as a stager of houses—the person who comes in and makes your house look good so it sells quicker. Her one-woman talent became so in demand she eventually had to keep hiring more and more people, until her little business became a big deal with semi-trucks, over 300,000 square feet of warehouse space in three states, and a docuseries on HGTV in 2013 called Staged to Perfection.
