The modern teen sex comedy dates back to Annette Funicello filling her bikini in the Beach Party movies of the 1960s. By the time the ’70s drive-in era rolled in, teens on screen stripped off their swimsuits in adolescent sex farces such as The Cheerleaders, The Pom Pom Girls, The Van, and Revenge of the Cheerleaders, ultimately leading to Animal House.

Then, as in puberty itself, everything seemed to explode with teen sex comedies in the 1980s.

After early hits such as Sylvia Kristel nude in Private Lessons and a Tatum O’Neal nip slip in Little Darlings, 1982 proved to be a landmark year that delivered Phoebe Cates nude in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Diane Franklin nude in The Last American Virgin, Jewel Shepard nude in Zapped!, and Kaki Hunter nude—along with a whole high-school shower room full of naked teen girls—in Porky’s.

Teen sex comedies just kept on coming. There was Rebecca De Mornay nude in Risky Business, Elizabeth Daily nude in Valley Girl, Caren Kaye nude in My Tutor, and Kelly Preston full-frontally nude in Mischief.

Then came the John Hughes movies. And even though we get to see Haviland Morris’s tits in Sixteen Candles, his blockbuster smashes The Breakfast Club and Some Kind of Wonderful signaled the end of the great ’80s teen sex comedy.

Then, in 1999, there was a new beginning with Ali Larter’s whipped-cream bikini in Varsity Blues and Shannon Elizabeth’s nude tits in American Pie. Since then, the teen sex comedy has been back on track, with naked schoolgirl racks appearing in Road Trip, EuroTrip, Not Another Teen Movie, Senior Skip Day, and more.
