As multi-night or multi-week events, mini-series keep viewers coming back for more . . . by offering the chance to see more tits and ass! Pay cable channels make the mini-series into an art form, with HBO providing full-frontal Mary-Louise Parker in Angels in America and breast from Sarah Polley in John Adams. Showtime has delivered Laura Linney nude in Further Tales of the City, Kate Capshaw and Elle MacPherson having lesbian sex in A Girl Thing, and Felicity Huffman, Justine Bateman, and others going naked for Out of Order.

But don’t count out network TV. NBC let a bit of Beverly D’Angelo’s tits into Captains and the Kings, and boobs from Sheryl Lee (among others) could be seen in Kingpin.

England and Australia also offer great celebrity nudity in mini-series, with Cate Blanchett nude in Bordertown, Keira Knightley naked as a teenager in Doctor Zhivago, and Minnie Driver’s debut nudity in Mr. Wroe’s Virgins.
