The Wicker Man (1973)

It’s hard to believe the original negative of Robin Hardy’s The Wicker Man (1973) was reportedly sold as landfill. But thankfully the British flick has since gone on to much acclaim — proving the adage that one man’s trash is another man’s horror classic. After David Hemmings and Michael York passed on the part, Edward Woodward took over to star as Sgt. Neil Howie. He’s a devout Christian policeman summoned to a Scottish island to investigate a young girl’s disappearance. After Sgt. Howie meets Lord Summerisle (Christopher Lee), Miss Rose (Diane Cilento), Daisy (Lesley Mackie) and May Morrison (Irene Sunter), he learns that the pagan ladies of the place are quick to shed their threads. Luckily for us, the heavenly lineup of heathen hotties includes Britt Ekland, Lorraine Peters, and Ingrid Pitt. In fact, you’ll be dancing around with your maypole when the latter actress reveals her rack in the bath. The sexy sight is enough to make you reach for a towel! If that’s not arousing enough, the peters on viewers will perk up when Ms. Peters exposes her peaks while straddling a tombstone in the dark at the 16-minute mark. Breast of all, Britt shows off her beautiful nude boobs and her body double’s bare booty 53 minutes into the movie. No wonder it won the Golden Licorn at the Paris International Festival of Fantastic and Science-Fiction Film. This skintastic thriller leads to a shocking end, yet the comely cast does their best to ensure several climaxes along the way!
