Dark, autobiographical, story about a hollywood screenwriter fighting the dark side of his nature and the temptations of fame and success. Since we have Billy Zane in a comedy today, we therefore have Ben Stiller in a drama to fulfill equal time requirements. Perhaps if they had reversed roles, both movies might have improved.
