Robe of Gems (2023)

Isabel (Nailea Norvind) is a wealthy woman who’s marriage is falling apart, so she takes her two children Vale (Sherlyn Zavala) and Benjamín (Balam Toledo) to an old mansion her mother once owned. Still there is Maria (Antonia Olivares), a maid who is dealing with the disappearance of her sister, apparently one of many in a string of kidnappings and murders being lacklusterly investigated by the local police chief (Eugenia Salazar). Tying it all together is the police chief’s son (Juan Daniel García Treviño), who seems to be involved in these crimes and has some secret hold over Maria. The film starts out strong, with Nailea’s bare right breast getting felt up against a window, but the only other nudity is her being marched into the middle of nowhere in the buff to be executed and showing all three Bs while fleeing from gunshots. So, ya know, not the best of circumstances, but still a pleasure to see Nailea’s gems when she disrobes!
